Ceramics

Ceramics are made of clay (white / black) produced by high temperature (furnace) molding.
Common examples are earthenware, porcelain and bricks.
The oldest man-made pottery was pottery (pots or pans) or figurines made of clay or mixed with other materials, such as silica, hardened and sintered in a fire. The ceramics were then glazed and fired to create smooth, colored surfaces, reducing porosity using glass, amorphous ceramic coatings.
