Eugenijus Kasiulis (born 1955) has nearly four decades of working with precious metals and natural, semi-precious stones under his belt. His work sometimes has cast metal specific features but don’t be fooled by the looks - it is not a mass production. Artist was fascinated by the creative process from a very early age – impressed by roots and twigs forms he repeated the patterns in sculptures. E. Kasiulis studied jewelry in Panevezys vocational training school. After graduation he joined the Lithuanian Folk Artists Association. The favorite material of author is silver decorated with gold. Every piece of work is unique and unrepeatable. Love for work is a major E. Kasiulis creative inspiration.
The artist's works are popular not only in Lithuania and Europe. His work can also be found as far United States and Japan. E. Kasiulis has been twice awarded the Ministry of Culture "Golden Hand" award.
